Nurse Luminaries Bettie Kettell and Sandra Armington were active in getting the Maine legislature to pass LD 2048.  Sandra addressed a press conference at the State House and both Bettie and Sandra worked with and spoke to their state legislators in support of the bill.  The American Nurses Association, a Luminary Beacon, also supported the bill.
